Going Dairy Free, part two

Ever since I finished writing my last blog on going dairy free, I have felt like I left out some big pieces of info. I did cover the major points to get your feet off the ground but after seeing the response to the last blog, I wanted to make sure I provided a couple more things that helped me.

Today was Mila’s one month doctors visit and one of these sweet little feet had to be pricked for a blood draw 😭😭😭 I had a major mom fail and forgot the blanket that comforts her and it broke my heart to hear her cries. So now it is time for some precious baby cuddles! I couldn’t wish for a better place to be right now. • • What is it that your little one wants when they are upset?
Anyone else feel like when they are having a baby that they need ALL. THE. THINGS. Just leaving the house with a newborn I feel like I need the stroller, the carrier, the sling, the pump, the bottles, the nursing scarf, the diapers, wipes, paci, diaper bag, etc. etc. etc.... it takes three trips back inside just to leave! But in all honesty, there are only a few truly essential items you HAVE to have with a newborn. On the blog today we talk about what those are! So if you’re pregnant and on a tight budget or if little one surprises you by showing up early, don’t feel too unprepared. I bet you already have the baby essentials! • • What was something you felt you had to have with baby but it really didn’t matter??
While Luca has been so proud of his little sister, I’m not going to lie, two under two has been hard than I expected. Some days aren’t too bad but other days the two of them are out of sync and it is a constant battle. I know it is going to be amazing when they are old enough to play together 🥰 but for now we are still trying to work out the kinks. So give me all your advice! What helped you most when you brought baby number two home?
Having children definitely makes you consider what values you want to start teaching from a very young age. Two very important values for me are kindness and compassion. I love that growing up, Mila will learn how her unicorn fed 10 children that were in need! What a better way to start conversations about being kind and compassionate?! What values do you want to teach your little ones?
Taking this diva to see JoJo Siwa tonight and we are SO excited! Loving this age and all that comes with it 💕 • • Who else has seen JoJo in concert?!
No tea got cold in the making of this photo... just kidding, I’m a mom, all my tea is cold by the time I get to drink it. • • Cold tea/coffee is just a fact of life as moms. Just like how motherhood is constant chaos and noise. I’m not saying I would change it but sometimes we need to break through the noise and have a moment to hear what God is telling us. I have loved doing these 5 minute devotional each day! It is quick so I can always find the time and it helps calm my chaotic life! • • Do you have anything that you do daily to help ground you in the midst of motherhood?
